I am one of our small animal vets. I am from Kilfinny, a small village near Adare in West Limerick. My main veterinary interests are small animal internal medicine and dermatology where I hope to further my studies in the future. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, caring for my animals at home but mainly spending time with my little dog Pippa (who can be seen around the clinic from time to time!).
I am from a dairy farm in Meelin, Co. Cork – the highest village in Ireland. I qualified in 2015. I like to follow all sorts of sports – except, as a proud Cork man, Limerick hurling! I have recently started rearing heifers on the home farm for the summer months.

VETERINARY NURSES
I graduated from UCD as a veterinary nurse in 2009. I worked in Clare Street Pet Clinic for many years, and I have been working with Mulcair veterinary clinic for the past 13 years. I have lived near my parents with my husband and daughter for the last nine years. I have two cats Dottie and Harry who are always full of fun and cuddles. I love looking after all the animals that pass through our doors on a daily basis and the variety that each day brings.
I trained as a Veterinary Nurse at City University of New York and worked for ten years at the ASPCA Emergency Hospital in Manhattan caring for sick and injured cats and dogs. During Covid 19, myself, my husband Fergus, along with our Border Collie Mellow, and our two cats Dottie Bonkers and Bluebear decided to return home to Ireland.
